A specialist supply program platform at the intersection of Southeast Asian palm oil supply chains and European renewable energy markets.
PKS origin: certified palm oil mill, Peninsular Malaysia. PKSEurope sources from MSPO- and ISCC-certified mills across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak, and Sumatra.
PKSEurope is a specialist PKS trading and advisory platform, operating at the intersection of Southeast Asian palm oil supply chains and European renewable energy markets. Our focus is singular: structuring certified, traceable, large-scale supply of Palm Kernel Shell from origin mills to European industrial buyers — with the documentation rigour and commercial architecture that the European compliance environment demands.
The platform was founded to address a specific gap in the market. European industrial buyers — utilities, district heating operators, industrial co-firing sites — have a genuine and growing need for large-scale, certified, traceable PKS supply from origin. What they encounter in practice, however, is a market characterised by opacity, inconsistency, and documentation deficiencies that make due diligence difficult and audit exposure real. Most commodity-level PKS offerings lack the chain-of-custody certification depth, the GHG calculation transparency, and the contractual structure that a professionally-run European procurement team can confidently sign off on. PKSEurope exists to close that gap.
PKSEurope is backed by a Malaysian palm oil trading company with established mill relationships across Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, Sarawak, and Sumatra. These relationships are the commercial foundation of our supply programs: they provide access to certified mill-level PKS at origin, with the traceability infrastructure — kernel separation records, MSPO and ISCC certificates, independent survey reports — that allows us to build the documentation packages European buyers require. Our origin network spans multiple production regions, providing the supply redundancy that single-region operators cannot offer and that is essential to the reliability commitments we make to long-term offtake partners.
Our commercial model is that of a supply program intermediary. We structure trial cargoes from 5,000 MT, annual offtake agreements, and long-term supply programs up to 25,000 MT per monthly shipment — connecting certified Southeast Asian mills with European industrial buyers at the commercial scale and documentation standard the market requires. We are not a spot trader. We are a program architect: each supply relationship is built around a defined volume commitment, a documentation framework, and a logistics structure that is repeatable cargo-to-cargo across the duration of the agreement.
The Malay Archipelago produces over 80% of the world's palm oil, and with it, over 6.5 million metric tonnes of Palm Kernel Shell annually. This is a byproduct stream of extraordinary scale — a residual from existing agricultural and industrial processes, with no incremental land use, no additional water consumption, and no fertilisation requirement. PKSEurope exists to connect that supply to Europe's energy transition, with the certification rigour and commercial structure that European compliance teams require to integrate SE Asian PKS into their fuel procurement with confidence.
We do not operate as a commodity broker. We operate as a supply program architect — structuring the documentation, logistics, and commercial terms that allow European buyers to integrate SE Asian PKS into their fuel procurement programs with confidence. That means delivering not just the physical cargo, but the complete compliance package: MSPO and ISCC chain-of-custody certificates, RED II Article 29 sustainability declarations, GHG lifecycle calculation worksheets under Annex V methodology, no-deforestation attestations, independent pre-shipment survey reports, and all ancillary shipping and customs documentation. For our buyers, a PKSEurope cargo arrives as a complete, auditable, compliance-ready commercial event — not a commodity delivery that requires months of post-purchase documentation work to bring into regulatory compliance.
